28times is a new platform with the vision to make time series management easy.

Time Series Management Made Easy

There is no shortage of platforms that let you store data with time stamps. Why do we think there is need for another one?

What we see on the market are platforms for dealing with enormous amounts of data. These are mature and powerful tools. However, these solutions come with a steep learning curve, and often with significant fees. Most people don't track thousands of sensors, making millions of measurements per second. People with the simple need to store and graph time series are forced to learn a complicated new tool, when what they need is a simple tool.

That's where 28times steps in. A solid platform, easy to set up and use, and yet powerful enough to also serve millions of data points and to do advanced calculations if needed. Data is kept safe with automated backups. We provide an API for integration with other tools. All of that as an online service, with no software to install and to maintain.

It's Launch Time

If you're not embarrassed by your product at launch, you've launched too late.

That's what they say about when to launch. For 28times, that means it's about time. In fact, we might already have missed the right time: we aren't embarrassed.

We do have a sizeable list of improvement ideas, but we also feel that the current functionality provides a very solid service. We used it internally for several months, and we collected feedback in a private beta phase. Now is the time to open it up to the public.

Free Tier

Initially, we will only offer our free tier. It's meant to be sufficient for simple use cases and there will be no time restriction. We expect a lot of our users to stay on the free tier, and that's perfectly fine with us. We'll learn from user feedback as we make the next steps. Certain features will only be available for paid tiers, but we intend to keep the free tier with the same (or better) features for as long as this site exists.

Your Data Is Yours

The data you put on our platform is your data, and that includes the right to move the data elsewhere. We make all data available for export, and this is and will always remain a free feature.

Paid Plans

Paid plans will be offered in the future. A big difference to the free tier will be more generous size limits for time series. There will also be advanced features, some of which require more server resources, reserved for paid tiers.
